As the air turns festive and the sound of dhak fills Bengali hearts across the country, the spirit of Durga Pujo travels far, finding its way into every shared meal and every dish that tastes unmistakably like home. This October, SAUS at DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport presents Pujor Bhoj: A Taste of Bengal, a culinary celebration running across Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami, Maha Navami, and Vijayadashami, served across lunch and dinner.
Staying true to SAUS’s philosophy of exploring flavour through local ingredients and the condiments that give a cuisine its identity, the experience draws from the building blocks of Bengali cooking, from the earthy richness of posto and distinctive Bengal fish to the spices and flavours that shape the cuisine.
The menu, changing over four days, features Aam Pora Shorbot, Gondhoraj Ghol, Mochar Chop, Hansher Dimer Devil, Puchka, Chingri Malai Curry, Sukto, Kosha Mangsho, Jhuri Aloo Bhaja, Kolkata Style Biryani, and a sweet close of Rosogolla, Misti Doi, and Sondesh, a feast as joyful as the occasion itself.
