Haflong :Rail communication in between lumding – silchar disrupted due to indefinite rail blockade called by N C Hills Indigenous Students forum from today morning at 5 am. Dn Kanchanjunga express, up Silchar-Guwahati fast passenger and up Kanchanjunga express were stranded at New Haflong, Dittakchera and Bandarlhal stations respectively causing utter sufferings to the passengers including patients and children.
The N C Hills Indigenous Students Forum had called for an Indefinite Rail Blockade from March 7 as the Railway authority failed to keep its promises of releasing compensation till date.
