Raja Govinda Chandra Aarsh Gurukulam Dayanand Durg observed 6th foundation day

Haflong  :The 6th foundation day of   Raja Govinda Chandra Aarsh Gurukulam Dayanand Durg was observed with great enthusiasm in presence of guests from Guwahati, Haflong, Nagaland,  Odisa and Chatishgarh at Wasaikhong, Diyungbra 110 km from Haflong on Thursday.

The school was established in 2012 at an abandoned designated camp of DHD with the aim of providing a moral education to the poorest of poor people of the area this way the school has become a residential school for boys and girls. The first batch of school came out with flying color in HSLC examination 2017-18. This program was started with hawan yagna in presence of students, teachers, parents and well wishers as well. This was followed by bhajan kirtan by the teachers of the school and others in this connection a meeting was also held wherein Dr Rahman was the chief guest. The chief guest speaking on the occasion appealed to the people of Dima Hasao in particular to conserve environment and bio diversity and requested parents, students to instill love for environment and bio-diversity while mentioning the abundance of bio- diversity in Dima Hasao dist. He also assured plantation of plants in this area of his own.

The students performed various dances and also showcase physical activities enthralling the audience.

Earlier Dilip Nunisa, President, School management society in his welcome speech explained the aims and objects of the school and offered his wholehearted greetings to the entire guest, invitees, students and all other present there.

The successful candidates of HSLC were felicitated with flower garlands.
