The following train services will be partially cancelled/regulated for facilitating final stage track doubling works between Nanguneri and Meleppalayam stations in Nagercoil – Tirunelveli section.
PARTIAL CANCELLATION
1. Train No. 20691 Tambaram – Nagercoil Junction Antyodaya Daily Express leaving Tambaram on 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd March, 2023(6 days) will be short terminated at Tirunelveli Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli Jn. and Nagercoil Jn.
2. Train No. 20692 Nagercoil Junction – Tambaram Antyodaya Daily Express will commence service from Tirunelveli Jn. instead of Nagercoil Jn. on 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th March, 2023(6 days). The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Jn. and Tirunelveli Jn.
3. Train No. 22627 Tiruchchirappalli Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Intercity Daily Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli Jn on 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th March, 2023(6 days) will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli Jn. and Thiruvananthapuram Central. The train will be short terminated at Tirunelveli Jn.
4. Train No. 22628 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tiruchchirappalli Superfast Express will commence service from Tirunelveli Jn. instead of Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. on 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th March, 2023(6 days). The trainwill be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. and Tirunelveli Jn.
5. Train No. 22657 Tambaram – Nagercoil Junction Triweekly Superfast leaving Tambaram on 22nd March, 2023(1 day) will be short terminated at Virudunagar Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Virudunagar Jn. and Nagercoil Jn.
6. Train No. 22658 Nagercoil Junction – Tambaram Triweekly Superfast will commence service from Virudunagar Jn. instead of Nagercoil Jn. on 23rd March, 2023(1 day) . The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Jn. and Virudhunagar Jn.
7. Train No. 12667 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Junction Weekly Express leaving Chennai Egmore on 23rd March, 2023(1 day) will be short terminated at Virudunagar Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Virudunagar Jn. and Nagercoil Jn.
8. Train No. 12668 Nagercoil Junction – Chennai Egmore Weekly Express will commence service from Virudunagar Jn. instead of Nagercoil Jn. on 24th March, 2023(1 day). The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Jn. and Virudunagar Jn.
REGULATION (DELAY)
1. Train No. 16862 Kanniyakumari – Puducherry Weekly Express leaving Kanniyakumari on 20th March, 2023 will be delayed for 1 hour en route.
2. Train No. 22658 Nagercoil Junction – Tambaram Triweekly Superfast leaving Nagercoil Jn. on 21st March, 2023 will be delayed for 1 hour en route.
WEEKLY SUPERFAST DIVERTED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORKS
Train No. 12778 Kochuveli – Sri Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Weekly Superfast leaving Kochuveli on 16th and 23rd March, 2023 will be diverted between Davangere and SSS Hubballi stations to run via Amaravathy Colony Jn., Kotturu, Hosapete Byepass and Gadag Jn, due to traffic regulations for construction works scheduled in the section. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Harihar, Ranibennur and SMM Haveri.
