REGULATION OF TRAINS

In view of train traffic regulation for subway construction work at Kadambur in Kovilpatti – Vanchi Maniyachchi section of Madurai Division, the following train services will be partially cancelled/diverted as detailed below.

 PARTIAL CANCELLATION

1.    Train No.22627 Tiruchchirappalli Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Daily Intercity Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli Jn. at 07.20 hrs. on 13^th June, 2023, will be short terminated at Virudunagar Jn. ie. the train will be partially cancelled between Virudunagar Jn. and Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl.  

2.    Train No.22628 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tiruchchirappalli Junction Daily Intercity Express will commence service from Virudunagar Jn. instead of Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. on 13^th June, 2023. ie. the train is partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Ctrl. and Virudunagar Jn.  

3.    Train No.16322 Coimbatore Junction – Nagercoil Junction Daily Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Jn at 08.00 hrs. on 13^th June, 2023 will be short terminated at Dindigul Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Dindigul Jn. and Nagercoil Jn.  

4.    Train No.16321 Nagercoil Junction – Coimbatore Junction Daily Express, will commence service from Dindigul Jn. instead of Nagercoil Jn on 13^th June, 2023. The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Jn and Dindigul Jn.

5.    Train No. 20691 Tambaram – Nagercoil Junction Antyodaya Superfast, leaving Tambaram at 23.00 hrs. on 12^th June, 2023 will be short terminated at Dindigul Jn. ion 13^th June, 2023. The train will be partially cancelled between Dindigula Jn. and Nagercoil Jn.

6.    Train No. 20692 Nagercoil Junction – Tambaram Antyodaya Superfast, will commence service from Dindigul Jn. instead of Nagercoil Jn on 13^th June, 2023. The train will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil Jn and Dindigul Jn.

DIVERSION

1.    Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Daily Express leaving Guruvayur at 23.15 hrs. on 12^th June, 2023 will be diverted between Tirunelveli Jn. and Virudunagar Jn. stations to run via Tenkasi Jn. The train will skip its scheduled stoppage at Vanchi Maniyachchi Jn, Kovilpatti, Satur stations.

2.    Train No. 16340 Nagercoil Junction – Mumbai CSMT Express leaving Nagercoil Jn. at 06.15 hrs. on 13^th June, 2023 will be diverted between Tirunelveli Jn. and Virudunagar Jn. stations to run via Tenkasi Jn. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Kovilpatti, Satur stations. Additional temporary stoppage will be provided at Tenkasi.
