Kerala has witnessed the everseen renouncing victory for UDF. The congress lead UDF won 19 seats out of 20 and a single seat from Alappuzha for CPM lead LDF. Congress President Rahul Gandhi won from Wayanad Constituency. EP Jayarajan, Cabinet Minister from Pinarayi Government said, what has happened in Kerala due to the religeous grouping in voting patterns and it favoured UDF.
