In order to ensure convenient travel for passengers, the coach composition of following daily trains will be revised, as detailed below.
TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI INTERCITY
1. Train No. 22627 Tiruchchirappalli Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Intercity Daily Superfast will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 19th March, 2022.
2. Train No. 22628 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tiruchchirappalli Junction Intercity Daily Superfast will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 20th March, 2022.
Revised Coach composition: One – AC Chair Car, Eight – Second Class Chair Cars, Eight – Second Class General/Sitting and Two – Second Class(Divyang Friendly) cum Luggage / Brake Van(Total 19 Coaches).
GURUVAYUR INTERCITY
1. Train No. 16342 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Guruvayur Intercity Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Cars Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 19th March, 2022.
2. Train No. 16341 Guruvayur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Intercity Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 20th March, 2022.
Revised Coach composition: One – AC Chair Car, Eight – Second Class Chair Cars, Eight – Second Class General/Sitting and Two – Second Class(Divyang Friendly) cum Luggage / Brake Van(Total 19 Coaches).
ERNAD EXPRESS
1. Train No. 16605 Mangalore Central – Nagercoil Junction Ernad Daily Express will be upgraded with One additional Second Class Chair Car Coach duly replacing One Second Class General Coach with effect from 19th March, 2022.
2. Train No. 16606 Nagercoil Junction – Mangalore Central Ernad Daily Express will be upgraded with One additional Second Class Chair Car Coach duly replacing One Second Class General Coach with effect from 20th March, 2022.
Revised Coach composition: Two – AC Chair Car, Five – Second Class Chair Cars, Thirteen – Second Class General/Sitting and Two – Second Class(Divyang Friendly) cum Luggage / Brake Van(Total 22 Coaches).
VANCHINAD EXPRESS
1. Train No. 16304 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Ernakulam Junction Vanchinad Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 15th April, 2022.
2. Train No. 16303 Ernakulam Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Vanchinad Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 19th April, 2022.

4. Train No. 16306 Kannur – Ernakulam Junction Intercity Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 18th April, 2022.

2. Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur Executive Daily Express will be upgraded with Three additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Three Second Class General Coaches with effect from 17th April, 2022.

1. Train No. 12678 Ernakulam Junction – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Daily Superfast will be upgraded with Five additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Five Second Class General Coaches with effect from 01st May, 2022.
2. Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Junction Intercity Daily Superfast will be upgraded with Five additional Second Class Chair Car Coaches duly replacing Five Second Class General Coaches with effect from 02nd May, 2022.
