Kokrajha: The swearing in ceremony of six government nominated members of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) was held today at BTC Assembly auditorium in Kokrajhar.
BTC speaker Katiram Boro administered the swearing in ceremony. The six nominated members to take oath today are Madhav Chandra Chetri, Sarnapawati Deka, Wilson Hasda, Hemanta Kumar Rabha, Pradeep Kumar Bayan and Arpana Medhi.
The swearing in ceremony was also attended by BTC chief executive member Pramod Boro, deputy chief Gobindo Basumatary and other executive members.
Congratulations the newly nominated members, BTC Chief executive member Pramod Boro said people have so much expectations from this govt and “we need to work with positive mindset. Our ideology may be different by we all need to work for all around development of the Bodoland region, he said.
“If we can work as a team, we can bring lots of development. We need dynamic hardworking people. I am sure and hopeful that we all the elected members, govt officials will work as a team and carry on with our agenda of developmental work, he said and called upon all to work hard to fulfill the expectations of the people.
The BTC chief also stressed the need of digitalising all the department in the Council for smooth and proper functioning of work.
