Kochi — SUEZ Projects Private Limited organised a voluntary blood donation camp in Kochi to mark National Voluntary Blood Donation Day. The initiative was conducted at the ESSS Conference Hall in Kacheripady, in association with Lourdes Hospital, Ernakulam, and the Ernakulam Social Service Society (ESSS).
More than 40 SUEZ employees donated blood during the camp, supporting the cause of community welfare and helping save lives. A medical team from Lourdes Hospital facilitated the collection, ensuring the process was conducted safely and systematically.
The programme was organised as part of SUEZ’s ongoing health, safety, and social responsibility initiatives to encourage employee contribution to community causes and raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.
SUEZ expressed its appreciation to the medical team from Lourdes Hospital, the Ernakulam Social Service Society, and all employees who volunteered to ensure the event’s success.
The initiative reinforced the need for regular voluntary blood donation and highlighted the vital role corporate bodies and individuals play in maintaining adequate blood supplies for patients and medical emergencies.
