Mumbai: tbsp. (Tablespoon), the contemporary American-Italian kitchen from The Yum Yum Tree Group, has arrived in Mumbai, opening its first outlet at Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel. After establishing a strong presence in Delhi and Gurgaon, the brand now brings its acclaimed Pizzeria & Pastaria to Mumbai.
First launched in 2022, tbsp. was built on the idea of translating the warmth, familiarity and informality of eating from a home kitchen into a modern dining experience. Central to the restaurant is its signature fluffy Neapolitan pizza — handcrafted, freshly stretched and fired in a wood-fired oven. The open kitchen brings the craft of pizza-making directly into the dining journey.
In Mumbai, tbsp.’s Pizzeria takes centre stage with 12-inch Neapolitan pizzas that blend comforting flavours with creative pairings. From the classic Margherita to options like Pepperoni and Spicy Honey Pepperoni, each pizza boasts a soft, airy crust, generous toppings and the distinct character imparted by wood-firing. Guests can watch their dough being stretched, topped and fired to order, making pizza preparation an integral part of the experience.
Complementing the Pizzeria is tbsp.’s Pastaria, which brings handmade pasta to the table with choices ranging from traditional classics to rich, modern combinations. Together, these two concepts offer familiar, generous food with the option to customise through “Make Your Own” Pizza and Pasta offerings — a playful approach that extends to waffles and soft-serve desserts.
