Telangana reported 1478 new COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours. With this, the number of COVID 19 cases reported in the state has gone up to 42,496. Out of the 1478 fresh cases reported yesterday, 806 cases reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area while neighbouring Rangareddy district accounted for 91 and Medchal Malkajgiri district reported 82 fresh cases.
Over 25 more districts also reported fresh COVID cases in considerable number. Meanwhile, 7 persons died yesterday, taking the total deaths relating to COVID 19 and other co-morbidities in the state to 403. Recoveries also are on rise with 1410 patients being discharged yesterday. With this, total 28,705 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the state so far.
