GUWAHATI : The Sivasagar MLA and Raijor Dal Chief, who is commonly against Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s politics has for a change stood in support. Gogoi said, “We are with the CM. Any FIR against him won’t be tolerated.” Earlier today, a delegation of the Assam Government led by Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary headed towards the Lailapur Border, which is the disputed region of the Assam-Mizoram Clash to take a stock of the situation. An FIR was filed against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and several top officials of Assam Police.
Along with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, IGP Anurag Agarwal, DIG of Cachar Devojyoti Mukherjee, DC of Cachar Keerthi Jalli, DFO of Cachar Sunnydeo Choudhury, SP of Cachar Chandrakant Nimbalkar, OC of Dholai PS Sahab Uddin and 200 unidentified Assam Police personnel. They have been charged with an attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. This can come as a response to two crucial factors – one, the summon against Mizo MP K Vanlalvena for his hateful comments on Assam Police; two, the two advisories that have been issued by Assam Government.
