Bhopal: Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that Tourism Quiz Competition-2022 will now be held on 10th September. This decision has been taken keeping in view the situation of excessive rainfall in the state and the safety of the students. Earlier this competition was scheduled to be held on August 24. Principal Secretary Shri Shukla informed that about 7 thousand 831 schools from all 52 districts of the state have registered to participate in the competition. More than 23 thousand students will participate in it.
Training has also been given to selected quiz masters from all the districts to give the competition a festive look and to conduct it in a transparent manner. The training covers the essential aspects of Quiz Written Test and Multi Media Quiz. Along with this, all the quiz masters have also been given certificates, teacher certificates, medals and coupons to be given to the winners and runners-up teams according to their registration in their districts.
Students studying from class 9th to 12th in government, non-government, CBSE and Kendriya Vidyalayas of the state are taking part in the competition. The winning teams of the competition will be given tour packages of Tourism Corporation hotels along with certificates and medals. Through the competition, children will be attracted towards different areas of Madhya Pradesh for tourism in future and knowledge related to tourism will increase. Tourism Board is successfully organising this competition every year since 2016.
