The following train services will be rescheduled/regulated due to traffic block in connection with yard modification work at Kalamasseri Yard on 17th May 2026.
RESCHEDULED
1. Train No. 16341 Guruvayur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Intercity Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 03.25 hrs. will be rescheduled on 17th May 2026 to leave Guruvayur at 04.25 hrs. (ie. 60 minutes late).
2. Train No. 22628 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Tiruchchirappalli Intercity Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 11.35 hrs. will be rescheduled to on 17th May 2026 at 13.00 hrs. (ie. 85 minutes late).
DELAY ENROUTE
1. Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express leaving Chennai Egmore on 16th May 2026 will be regulated for 20 minutes.
2. Train No. 16187 Karaikal – Ernakulam Junction Express leaving Karaikal on 16th May 2026 will be regulated for 10 minutes.
3. Train No. 16305 Ernakulam Junction – Kannur Intercity Express leaving Ernakulam Junction on 17th May 2026 will be regulated for 10 minutes.
TRAIN TRAFFIC REGULATION FOR TRACK MAINTENANCE WORK AT ERNAKULAM JUNCTION YARD
Track maintenance works will be carried out at Ernakulam Junction Yard during night hours from 27th May 2026 to 03rd June 2026. Consequently the following train services will be diverted/regulated.
DIVERSION
1. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur on 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th May and 01st, 02nd and 03rd June 2026(7 services) will be diverted between Ernakulam Junction and Kayamkulam Junction to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Junction, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla and Chengannur for passenger convenience.
2. Train No. 16355 Thiruvananthapuram North – Mangaluru Junction Antyodaya Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram North on 28th & 30th May 2026(2 services) will be diverted via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Junction. Temporary additional stoppages will be provided at Chengannur, Kottayam and Ernakulam Town for the convenience of passengers.
3. Train No. 16603 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Maveli Express leaving Mangaluru Central on 29th May 2026 will be diverted between Erankulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Junction, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad. Temporary additional stoppage will be provided at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla and Chengannur.
4. Train No. 22207 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central AC Express leaving MGR Chennai Central on 29th May 2026 will run diverted via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Junction and Alappuzha. Additional stoppages will be provided at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam and Chengannur.
REGULATION
1. Train No. 16603 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Maveli Express leaving Mangaluru Central on 27th, 28th, 30th May and 01st and 02nd June 2026 will run delayed enroute by 40 minutes.
2. Train No. 16356 Mangaluru Junction – Kochuveli Express leaving Mangaluru Junction on 29th May 2026 will be delayed for 30 minutes.
