MECHANISED TRACK MAINTENANCE WORKS
In view of traffic regulations for track maintenance works scheduled at various locations in the Kollam-Kottayam-Ettumanur and Ernakulam-Thrissur sections including station limits, train services will be cancelled/diverted/rescheduled, as detailed below.
FULL CANCELLATION
1. Train No. 06778 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled on 02nd, 05th and 08th November 2022(3 days).
2. Train No. 06441 Ernakulam Junction – Kollam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled on 02nd, 05th and 08th November 2022(3 days).
3. Train No. 06769 Ernakulam Junction – Kollam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled on the 17th, 19th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 29th, 30th November, 01st 03rd, 06th, 07th, 08th, 10th and 13th December2022(15 days).
4. Train No. 06768 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express Special will be fully cancelled on the 17th, 19th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 29th, 30th November, 01st 03rd, 06th, 07th, 08th, 10th and 13th December2022(15 days).
PARTIAL CANCELLATION
1. Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Daily Express leaving Chennai Egmore from 02nd to 19th November 2022(18 days) will be short-terminated at Thiruvananthapuram Central. ie. the train will not run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Guruvayur.
2. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Daily Express will commence service from Thiruvananthapuram Central instead of Guruvayur from 02nd to 19th November 2022(18 days). ie. the train will not run between Guruvayur and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
DIVERSION via ALAPPUZHA
· Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Pune Junction Daily Express leaving Kanniyakumari on 02nd, 05th and 08th November 2022(3 days) will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppage at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Additional temporary stoppage will be provided at Ambalappuzha, Haripad, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.
RESCHEDULING
1. Train No. 16348 Mangalore Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Daily Express, scheduled to leave Mangalore Ctrl. at 14.25 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave Mangalore Central at 15.25 hrs. (ie late by 1 hour) on dates 7th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17thand 18th November 2022(7 days).
2. Train No. 16344 Madurai Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Amritha Daily Express, scheduled to leave Madurai Jn. at 16.10 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave Madurai Jn. at 16.40 hrs. (ie. 30 minutes late) on dates 7th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17thand 18th November 2022(7 days).
