Trial process of Covid-19 vaccine begins

Bhopal: Medical Education Minister  Vishwas Sarang said that the state government is putting its best efforts to control Covid, due to which the state of Madhya Pradesh ranks 16th in recovery rate. There is no shortage of any kind including oxygen and beds in Madhya Pradesh. The government has made continuous efforts to extend facilities in the state. In this sequence, Covid vaccine trial has also begun, in which public awareness is also apparent.

Minister  Sarang today reached Peoples’ Hospital to take stock of the trial process of Covid vaccine. He saw and understood the process there, and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned. He spoke to the people getting the vaccine administered with self-motivation and appreciated their awareness.

So far, 35 people have got registered for the vaccine trial in the People’s Hospital, who are being vaccinated. Minister  Sarang informed that soon the vaccination trial will also be done at Gandhi Medical College. He said that we will soon win the battle against Covid under the guidance of Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Minister  Sarang inspected the sample receiving room, counseling room, vaccine room etc. in the hospital. On this occasion DME Dr. Ulka Srivastava, VC People’s University Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Director  Rohit Pandit, Dean Dr. Anil Dixit, Dr. Alok Kulshrestha and Dr. Raghavendra Gumastha were present.

It may be noted that India’s first indigenous Covid-19 vaccine COVAXIN has been developed. According to the guidelines of the Indian Council of Medical Research, this vaccine produced by Bharat Biotech will be useful for the prevention of Covid.
