Two-and-a-Half-Year-Old Lakshmi Krishna Yashvan of Kozhikode Sets Records in International Book of Records and India Book of Records

Toddler climbs 625 steps across HiLITE Olympus’s 33 floors, nonstop, in 14 minutes 7 seconds — smashing the previous record of 362 steps

Kozhikode: Two-and-a-half-year-old Lakshmi Krishna Yashvan from Kozhikode has secured a place in both the International Book of Records and the India Book of Records. A Pre-KG student at The White School International, Perumanna, Lakshmi climbed all 625 steps across 33 floors of the HiLITE Olympus, an iconic residential tower in India, nonstop, in just 14 minutes and 7 seconds without any support at the tender age of 2 years, 6 months and 6 days.

With this feat, Lakshmi has surpassed the previous record of 362 steps set by a child from Chennai, setting a new benchmark for the maximum number of steps of a multi-storeyed building climbed nonstop by a toddler.

Lakshmi is the younger daughter of Harikrishnan P. K., Head of Activities at The White School International, and Aarathi M. R., a tattoo artist, both natives of Veliparamba, Keezhmad, Kozhikode. Her elder brother, Shiva Krishna Yashvan, is a Grade 1 student at The White School International.
