UPPolice Trends Globally Passing-Out Parade of 60,000+ Constables Gains Worldwide Attention

New Delhi : The passing-out parade of 60,244 Civil Police constables recruited by the Uttar Pradesh Police in 2025 was held on Sunday at the Lucknow Police Lines, marking a significant milestone for the state’s law enforcement system. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took the salute during the ceremony and encouraged the newly inducted personnel.

The event garnered massive attention on social media, with the hashtag #UPPolice trending globally on platform X. Posts featuring photos and videos from the ceremony were actively shared by various district police handles across Uttar Pradesh, contributing to widespread visibility.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Police, activity under the hashtag began around 11 a.m. on April 26. Within a short span, #UPPolice secured the No. 1 position on global trending charts and remained among the top global trends for approximately four hours.

During this period, the hashtag witnessed over 64,000 tweets, generating an estimated reach of 6.4 crore, over 5.58 lakh views, and approximately 113 crore impressions, reflecting the scale and impact of the event.

At the grand ceremony in Lucknow, the Chief Minister also inspected the parade and presented awards to outstanding performers, further motivating the recruits as they begin their service.
