CHENNAI – GRT Hotels & Resorts has officially unveiled its signature summer beverage property, an extraordinary gin-focused celebration running till 30th June, 2026. Titled “Where Botanicals Become Stories,” this month-long campaign invites patrons to embark on a unique sensory journey across the group’s properties. Strategically timed to anchor the global celebrations of World Gin Day, the festival blends history, mixology, and regional flora into a glass.
The inspiration for the promotion traces back to the documented travels of historical explorer Archibald Percival Ashcroft in 1891. What originally began as a routine stop at the historic Madras harbour evolved into a lifelong obsession with herbs, botanicals, spices, and the forgotten flavours of the subcontinent. This June, GRT Hotels & Resorts brings Ashcroft’s vintage travelogues to life by mapping his extraordinary trail onto modern mixology.
