GUWAHATI : The ongoing border dispute between India and China is reigniting. According to Indian Army sources, there was a major clash between the Indian Army and Chinese troops in the Sikkim border on January 20. 30 Chinese soldiers and 6 Indian soldiers were injured in a clash between the armies of the two countries. According to Indian Army sources, on the night of January 20, suddenly Chinese troops tried to infiltrate into the Indian border forcefully. At this time, the Indian Army objected, but the Chinese troops did not listen to the Indian soldiers. At the same time, both sides had fights, huge clashes.

The Indian has now issued an official statement saying that India and China clashed along the Sikkim border amid the ongoing standoff along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. The Indian army said, “on January 20, there was a minor clash with Chinese troops at Na Kula Pass in Sikkim. This was resolved as per the protocol laid down at the local commander level. According to sources, 30 Chinese soldiers and 6 Indian soldiers were reported injured in clashes at The Naku-La Pass. The situation remains tense, but the situation is stable. According to information received, the Chinese army tried to change the status quo in Na Kula in Sikkim. This place is at an altitude of 19000 feet. According to sources, some Chinese soldiers were moving towards the Indian border with the intention of infiltration. In the meantime, the Indian Army retaliated and injured 30 Chinese soldiers. According to reports, the infiltration attempt at Na-Kula in Sikkim has occurred at a time when the Chinese army has removed its 10,000 troops from eastern Ladakh. According to sources, the Chinese army has reduced its deployment from several areas including Sikkim besides eastern Ladakh, but the Jawans are still on the stand. Earlier, a Chinese soldier was taken into custody after entering the Indian border on January 8.

The incident is in the southern part of the Pong Tso Lake in eastern Ladakh. India returned to the Chinese army 2 days later. China had made it clear that its soldier had accidentally moved to Indian territory. Here, the incident of clashes between the troops of India and China on the Nakula border is new. Last year also, in the month of May, when the two countries were reeling under the Corona crisis, Chinese troops tried to encroach. When the Indian troops tried to convince the Chinese soldiers, they came down on the blow-up. The Indian Army also gave a befitting reply. Seven Chinese soldiers sustained injuries. About 150 jawans from both the countries were on the border at the time of the conflict. About a month before the clashes in Na-Kula in Sikkim, the two soldiers were in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh. About 40 Chinese soldiers were killed in Indian soldiers while 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. Tensions between India and China have been intact since the violent clashes in Galwan. The news of the conflict in Nakula came at a time when the ninth round of the nearly 15-hour meeting in Moldova remained inconclusive to ease tensions between the two countries. The latest incident raises a big question on Chinese intentions.
