Aakash BYJU’S organises NEET-UG 2023 Counselling-cum-Guidance session in Delhi

New Delhi: Aakash BYJU’S, the national leader in test preparatory services, today organised a zoom counselling-cum-guidance session in Delhi for the students of NCR and Haryana where the NEET-UG 2023 qualifiers received a comprehensive input vis-à-vis the expected cut-off marks of government and private colleges, the characteristics of the national and state-wise counselling processes along with the specific documents required in them and the method how colleges are hand-picked.

The career counselling expert of NEET-UG from Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) Mr Amit Arora , addressed this session and resolved many doubts the students and their parents had concerning the national and state-wise counselling processes for medical courses.

More than 700 students and parents participated in the session.

Mr Arora advised them to expect a fifteen-mark increase in the cut-off marks from that of the last year, meaning, a student has to score 10 to 15 more marks this year to achieve the same rank as last year.

To secure a seat in a government college through the all-India counselling process, a general-category student needs to obtain 605 marks this year, he added.

This session helped students to clear their doubts and improve the intensity in chasing their dreams of aspiring their careers in the Medical field. Parents and students not only expressed their satisfaction and happiness but also thanked Aakash BYJU’S team and system for bringing to them the best quality education and helping in achieving their dreams.

The zoom session concluded with the pledge to sticking to goals and indulging themselves in achieving their dreams.

NEET Statistics- The total number of medical colleges in India has increased to 698, and the total number of medical seats has increased to 01,06, 933. Similarly, the number of Dental colleges has also increased to 318 and the total number of seats there is 27 thousand 868 now. A NEET (UG) aspirant must complete 17 years on or before the 31st December of the appearing year. For the counselling session of NEET-UG 2023, a student must carry the Allotment Letter given by MCC, Exam Admit Card, Result and Rank Letter given by NTA, Birth Certificate, Marksheets and Certificates of 10th and 12th, 8 Passport-Size Photographs, Government Identity Proof and Category Certificate at the time of reporting.
