Chandigarh: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi party chief Arvind Kejriwal today announced the name of Sangrur MP Bhagwant Singh Mann as a Chief Minister candidate for Punjab. While announcing CM candidate Arvind Kejriwal sad 93.3 percent people voted in his favour so respecting the sentiments of people, party decided to declare him CM face of party for the Assembly Elections.
Notably, on January 13, Arvind Kejriwal had called suggestions from the people of Punjab and issued a phone number for this purpose. Bhagwant Singh Mann, was made his claim for the CM face of party for long time, but party was not declaring him CM candidate and there were rumours, AAP may announce other people as their CM face. But today he was announced CM candidate ending all rumours.
