Mumbai : Comet has landed in Mumbai. The latest store at Park Eleven, Khar, bringing its universe of sneakers and design to one of the city’s most fashion-forward neighbourhoods.
Spread across 1,500 sq. ft., the new store marks an important next chapter for Comet as the brand continues to build its presence across India. Designed as more than a retail space, the Mumbai store brings Comet’s world to life through a mix of sculptural elements, unexpected textures and a strong sense of play.
At the centre of the space is a life-size astronaut sculpture, a nod to the brand’s cosmic universe and the idea of Comet arriving somewhere new. Across the store, green and blue moss grows through the interiors, creating the feeling of life emerging in the aftermath of a landing.
The store brings together Comet’s latest sneaker drops alongside the brand’s evolving design universe, creating a space where product and environment work together. The result is a retail experience that feels distinctly Comet: curious, unexpected and built around the idea that sneakers can be as much a part of culture as they are of the everyday wardrobe.
Commenting on the launch, Utkarsh Gupta, Co-Founder, Comet, said, “Mumbai has always felt like a natural city for Comet. It has this constant energy, where people, ideas and culture are always moving and colliding. With the Mumbai store, we wanted to take the world we have built through Comet and give it a physical space. The astronaut and the moss are our way of bringing that world to life.”
