GUWAHATI : The world is in turmoil due to corona. The number of people infected with corona in the North-East is continuously increasing. In The North-Eastern States of India, however, the number of infected people with Covid-19 is going to be more and more dangerous. Monday morning’s figures are showing dangerous signs. The spread of the virus was low in some parts of the country including the North-East. But this trend has started changing since the time of Assam Assembly elections. Covid-19 cases have increased rapidly in the north-east of the country since people stopped wearing marks and did not mentalise social distensing. 04 more patients killed in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland Guwahati, April 12 (HS). The highest number of patients are found in Assam. However, the transition has also picked up pace in Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura. Assam ranks first in all the eight north-eastern states including Sikkim, while Tripura is second and Manipur is third. In the North-East, 530 new corona patients have been identified in the last 24 hours. However, 04 corona patients died in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. With this, the total number of infected persons has gone up to 3 lakh, 38 thousand, 114. Out of these, 3 lakh, 31 thousand, 193 patients have recovered. A total of 83 patients have recovered completely in the last 24 hours. 2,000, 940 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
So far, 2,331 patients have died in the North-East. 04 new patients have died during the last 24 hours. In Assam, 352 new corona infected patients have been identified again. The total number of corona patients in the state has reached 2 lakh,20 thousand, 310 while 2 lakh,15 thousand, 943 patients have recovered. During the last 24 hours, 36 patients have recovered. 1,000,902 patients are being treated in various hospitals. In Assam, 1,000, 118 patients have died so far. 01 new patients have died. In Tripura, 48 new corona infected patients have been identified during 24 hours. The total number of corona patients in the state has gone up to 33,000, 730. Out of these, 33,081 patients have recovered. 236 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. So far, 390 patients have died in the state. In Manipur, 10 new corona infected patients have been identified. With this, the total number of corona patients in the state is 29,000, 496 while 29,000, 013 patients have recovered.
During the last 24 hours, 03 new patients have recovered and 107 patients are being treated in various hospitals. So far, 376 patients have died in Manipur from Korna. Another patient has died in the state. In Arunachal Pradesh also, 04 new corona infected patients have been found. Thus, the total number of corona patients in the state is 16,000, 882 while 16,000, 790 patients have recovered. A total of 36 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals. So far, 56 patients have died in the state. In Meghalaya, 28 new corona infected patients have been identified. The total number of corona patients in the state has gone up to 14,000, 274 while 13,000, 933 patients have recovered. During the last 24 hours, 40 patients have recovered. A total of 190 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. In Meghalaya, 151 patients have died due to the epidemic. In Nagaland, 05 new patients have been identified. The total number of corona patients in the state is 12,000, 405. A total of 11,000, 992 patients have recovered in the state. During the last 24 hours, 02 patients have recovered. While, 157 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. In Nagaland, 92 patients have died of corona so far. 02 patients have died during the last 24 hours. In Sikkim, 54 new corona infected patients have been identified during the last 24 hours. The total number of corona patients in the state has gone up to 6,000, 405. Out of these, 5,000, 983 patients have recovered. In the last 24 hours, 01 patients have recovered. While, 169 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. So far, 136 patients have died from corona in the state. In Mizoram, 29 new patients have been identified in the meantime. With this, the total number of corona infected patients in the state has gone up to 4,000, 612. Out of these, 4,000, 458 patients have recovered. During the last 24 hours, 01 patients have recovered. While 143 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. In Mizoram, the death toll due to corona so far is 11. 15 379 crore has been demanded as per the report of the Department of Health, India. Out of these, 1 crore 21 lakh 53 thousand people have recovered. 1 lakh 70 thousand 179 patients died.
