District Magistrate Cachar clamps 144CrPC in areas under Sonai Revenue Circle, declares no Drone zone along Assam Mizoram Border

GUWAHATI : In view of security threat posed to recent trends of carrying out drone attacks by various miscreants , anti-social elements which may endanger the human life, property and public breach of tranquility and peace , District Magistrate Cachar Keerthi Jalli imposed 144CrPC in the areas under Sonai Revenue Circle.

Issuing an order to this effect District Magistrate Cachar Keerthi Jalli stated that all the areas under Sonai Revenue Circle and which are bordering with Mizoram State is declared as “no Drone zone” and flying of drones and any other Unnamed Areial Vehicles will be strictly prohibited over and above in the aforementioned areas. The order further stated that any activity, operation of government, private, military drones UAVs in the airspaces within the above mentioned locations within Cachar Assam without special permission from the District Magistrate is strictly prohibited with immediate effect until further order.
