GUWAHATI : Guwahati police busted a drug addict’s high-profile drugs party and drugs peddling at Hotel Revera in Kharaguli, Guwahati. Police raided drug rave party amid lockdown; . 17 persons including a woman were arrested. Guwahati police personnel noticed heavy consumption of drugs and liquor in Kharguli near Don Bosco Institute on Friday night and arrested 17 people, an official said.
However many participants managed to avoid the raid. According to reports, the rave party was organised on the third floor of Kharaguli Rivera apartment, the residence of businessman Vikas Hjain. The rave party was reportedly organised to celebrate the birthday of an Amit Baruah and contained drugs and alcohol. A case has been registered at Latasil police station. According to reports, 17 young teenagers who consumed drugs were arrested by the police during a raid at a hotel in Guwahati.It has been alleged that several drug parties have been organized at Hotel Revera which involveyoung teenagers without proper investigation.
