First Phase Of Lok Sabha Elections Sees Peaceful Voting Across States And Union Territories

New Delhi: Polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections concluded this evening in 102 Constituencies across 21 States and Union Territories. Barring a few incidents the polling was by and large peaceful. As per initial reports, overall about 62 per cent voting was recorded till 5 PM. Along with Lok Sabha elections, single phase Legislative Assembly Elections were also held in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

In Arunachal Pradesh, where polling was held for two Lok Sabha seats, over 63 voters exercised their franchise.
