President Ram Nath Kovind today while addressing the joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament said his government has commenced its journey towards building a New India where every person has access to basic amenities, gets justice with dignity, is healthy, secure and educated, has equal opportunities of advancement and every daughter feels safe. He said, a New India, which commands the respect of the entire world.
Mr Kovind said the country is following the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi to build an inclusive society based on ethics and principles. He said India is moving ahead guided by the ideals of social and economic justice as enshrined in the Constitution by Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
