GUWAHATI : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her party Trinamool Congress (TMC) are seen on ‘Mission-Delhi’ mode after Fatah in the state assembly. Mamata Banerjee’s stand has been more vocal about national issues for the past few days. She has generally been doing politics on the interests of Bengal. The Trinamool Congress has started expanding its scope out of Bengal. Interestingly, the ruling BJP opposition led by TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee in Assam has continued its efforts to gather all the MLAs. At the same time, the TMC has claimed to form the government by securing a majority in the upcoming Assembly in Tripura. All opposition political parties in Assam and Tripura have been involved with Mamata Didi.
The TMC has offered Assam MLA Akhil Gogoi to lead the party in Assam. Akhil Gogoi, mla from Sivasagar in Assam and leader of The Kisan Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), met TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee on Saturday and was reportedly offered to lead the party in Assam. Sources said Akhil Gogoi is yet to take a final decision but has openly expressed his desire to see West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the next Prime Minister. He has openly expressed respect for Mamata Banerjee. He has been described as the “biggest face of resistance against fascist RSS-BJP”.
Akhil Gogoi is an agriculture activist and president of the newly formed political party Raijar Dal. He had won the Assam assembly elections from Sivasagar constituency this year. Akhil Gogoi was earlier arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2019 for leading the protests of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Assam. The TMC leadership said in Guwahati on Sunday that Didi, Mamata Banerjee, has started laying the dice to overcome the “vortex of differences” in opposition politics in the country. Whether it is the farmers’ agitation for several months or the rising prices of petrol and diesel and price rise, Didi is cornering the Central Government and the Prime Minister in her statements to Narendra Modi. The recent case is of the Pegasus espionage case, in which he constituted a two-member investigation team on behalf of the Bengal government. Mention here that all opposition political parties are joining “Mission-Delhi” with Mamata Didi. He is working on a strategy to show solidarity to non-NDA parties across the country and ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Politicians of all opposition political parties include Congress, NCP, Samajwadi Party, RJD, DMK, Shiv Sena, Akali Dal, TRS, Aam Aadmi Party. His “Mission-Delhi” is being promoted from West Bengal to Tripura, from Gujarat to Tamil Nadu. Obviously, the TMC is trying to make Mamata Banerjee’s face country-wide. Mamata’s intention behind this is to lay the foundation stone of the opposition front for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections under her leadership.
This time Mamata seems to be making a effort two and a half years ago. That too at a time when the BJP is looking a little weaker than before. The basic mantra of any fight is to attack when the opponent is weak.Bjp contested West Bengal with full force but Mamata Banerjee’s strategy shattered BJP’s dream of Sonar Bangla. Mamata is excited about Bengal’s victory and BJP is discouraged from earlier. Mamata Banerjee has set an example before the opposition that if you take to the ground and fight a cross-border battle, you can defeat the Modi-Shah duo. On the other hand, Trinamool Congress (TMC) National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee said he was leaving for Tripura on Sunday after the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Saturday allegedly attacked the party’s Yuva Morcha leaders. He said that “Tripura BJP goons have shown their true colour! This barbaric attack on Trinamool workers reveals ‘Goonda Raj’ in Tripura in Biplab Deb’s government! Your threats and attacks prove your inhumanity. Do what you can. Trinamool won’t move an inch!
