Bengaluru : This monsoon, Circa 11 introduces a new lunch menu that embraces the slower rhythm of the season. Launching on 5 July, the menu brings together vibrant produce, layered flavours and generous plates designed to be shared, inviting guests to linger a little longer over lunch.
There is a quiet shift that arrives with the rains. Conversations stretch beyond the meal, a second coffee appears almost instinctively, and tables begin to fill with dishes passed from one person to another. The new lunch menu responds to this pace, offering food that feels generous without being heavy, and familiar only in the way good seasonal cooking often does.
The meal begins with a selection of small plates. Aubergine Fries arrive crisp beneath a dusting of shawarma spice, finished with whipped honey feta. Chicken Meatball Skewers are paired with yellow chilli aioli, while the Mushroom Birria Taco layers smoked mushrooms, rich birria and melted cheese into a deeply savoury bite that suits the weather.
Larger plates continue the menu’s balance of freshness and comfort. The Garden Plate brings together roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, falafel, labneh and roasted garlic flatbread. Roast Chicken is finished with Italian bomba and lime, adding brightness to slow-roasted flavours. The Nashville Fish Sando pairs crisp fish with tartar sauce and American cheese, delivering a generous sandwich built for an unhurried afternoon.
Dessert keeps things simple. Warm Chocolate Banana Bread is served with whipped ricotta and house-made banana syrup, while Circa 11’s Slice of Tall Cake changes flavour each day, offering guests a reason to return, or simply another reason to stay.
The new lunch menu is available from 5 July throughout the monsoon season. At Circa 11, lunch is less about the hour on the clock and more about making time for the table.
