New Delhi: More than 115 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 72 lakh 94 thousand doses were administered yesterday.
India reported over 11 thousand new cases during the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 26 thousand 620. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.37 per cent, the lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 98.28 per cent and it is highest since March last year. Over 12 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 38 lakh 97 thousand 921.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.92 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 56 days. The daily positivity rate is at 0.98 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 46 days.
The number of deaths due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 65 thousand 82. In the last 24 hours, 459 deaths were reported.
Till now, over 62 crore 93 lakh tests have been conducted.
