Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, Centre has made five fold increase in budget for welfare of tribal society

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the BJP government at the Centre has made a five fold increase in the budget for the welfare of the tribal society. Addressing an election meeting in Surajpur of Chhattisgarh, he said that tribal welfare is the top priority of BJP.  The Prime Minister said that 500 new Eklavya Model Schools are being built to ensure that tribal children get good education. Besides, medical and engineering education is also being provided in mother tongue.

Mr Modi said that the Central Government has given more than 80 thousand new community pattas. He said that the BJP government is working with full sincerity to eradicate poverty. Whereas, for Congress, eliminate poverty is just a slogan, he said.
