The Road Safety Week observed by the Kolkata Police has come to an end Saturday afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion, the West Bengal Transport Minister Mr. Suvendu Adhikari said that the campaign is aimed at increasing awareness on road safety.
He said that the Transport Department has given all the support to Kolkata Police for ensuring road safety.
The Minister also assured to extend support for up-gradation of Traffic Training School run by the Kolkata Police.
The Commissioner of Kolkata Police Anuj Sharma said that Safe Drive and Save Life campaign is one of the major initiatives taken up by the force for maintaining road safety.
