SIPAJHAR :: A ten days coaching cum selection camp has been organized from Tuesday by the Assam Volleyball Association in association with the Hazarikapara Sports Association near here to select both the men’s and women’s senior volleyball teams respectively to represent Assam in the National Senior Volleyball tournament scheduled to be held from February 7 next in Odissa.
Thirty players each for the men’s and women’s team have been taking part in the camp which is supervised by internationally acclaimed volleyball player Abinash Yadav as the head coach. The camp was earlier inaugurated by president of Assam Volleyball Association, Sushanta Biswa Sarma in presence of in charge secretary of the state sports body, Prakash Bora its joint secretary Pratap Bordoloi and secretary of Hazarikapara Sports Association Chandra Kumar Sarma among others.
