Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi created a separate ministry for skill development keeping in mind its importance in the country.
In a tweet, Mr Javadekar highlighted the value of skill creation and said that the skill development ministry empowers youth of the country. He said, it makes them more employable and more productive in their work.
Mr. Javadekar informed that in the last 5 years, under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, nearly 92 thousand candidates from different regions of the country have been trained for more than 250 job roles.
