Telangana reported 2,426 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours taking the number of cases reported so far in the state to one lakh 52 thousand 602. The state conducted about 63 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate also slightly improved to 78.2 per cent with 2,324 more people recovering during the day. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to one lakh 19 thousand 467.
Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department, stated that 338 new COVID-19 cases reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours. Rangareddy district reported over 200 new cases yesterday, Medchal Malkajgiri, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts also reported about hundred new COVID cases each during the same period.
