In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Awantipora police, 50 Rashtriya Rifles and 130 BN CRPF, based on a specific input have busted two terrorist hideouts in the forest area of Badroo Barsoo area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district today.
During the search in the area, the joint team busted and destroyed two hideouts of terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The team was able to recover huge cache of explosive materials, arms & ammunition and other incriminating materials from the hideouts.
All the recovered incriminating materials have been taken into police custody for the purpose of investigation.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of law in Police Station Awantipora and initiated investigation in the matter.
