Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed all 13 District Magistrates to monitor all serious cases of COVID 19 and focus on maintaining oxygen support in hospitals. He gave the directions during a video conference meeting with the DMs to review the pandemic situation in the state.
Mr Rawat said DMs themselves should monitor all serious cases of COVID 19 in their districts and ensure quick response. The Chief Minister also stressed the need for contact tracing. He also asked the DMs to spread awareness among people for proper behavior towards the COVID 19 positive people and not to stigmatise them.
Chief Minister also informed about the cancellation of holy baths on Somvati Amavasya in Haridwar tomorrow. He urged the devotees to take bath in their homes remembering Maa Ganga due to the pandemic situation.
