SIVASAGAR: A monthly meeting of the village guard ing force was directed to be held in every panchayat area of Sivasagar as directed by the in-charge police officer of Sivasagar Sadar police station. Following this order, the first monthly meeting was held on Sunday, July 3 under panbesa village panchayat in the premises of Panbesa High Secondary School in a joint venture between the village guards of Paya, Tantipathar, Garhkosh, Nawanjan, Panbesabeltal, Laraputa and Jagrahabi. Praveen Saikia, assistant secretary of the Sivasagar Sadar Thana Village Guard Inger Committee, explained the purpose of the meeting chaired by Poonam Dutta.

Attending the meeting, Shivsagar Sadar police station in-charge Couple Kishore Kalita in his speech was voluntarily coming out to serve the people by the village guard personnel, so he urged the police to cooperate with them in their dedication and honesty and to continue to work against the criminal forces of the society without neglecting their ever-vigilant duty.On the other hand, Vishwa Bhuyan, Deputy Advisor, Sivasagar subdivision of the Village Guard, in his speech, expressed hope that the village guards will be very active and forward in information technology through the linkage of “Nine and Old”.

The village guard personnel are expected to continue to be the inward guards of the society.” The event was attended by a large number of activists and people, including Panbesa Village Guard President Deepak Phukan, Sampadika Mansi Budhagohai, and the President, Secretary of all the village guarding forces under Sivasagar Sadar Police Station and Disangmukh police station.
