In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Army yesterday night targeted civilian villages in forward areas along Line of Control in Kashmir that resulted in the bullet injury to a woman of Hajitra village in Tangdhar Sector of Kupwara district. She was rushed to the hospital and is currently stable.
Meanwhile, based on an input regarding likely weapon drop along the Line of Control ahead of Anti Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS), a search operation was launched along the Line of Control in Hathlanga in Rampur sector of Baramulla district last night.
The Army said that during search operation, a weapon cache was discovered which include 01 AKS 74U with Magazines, 05 pistols (one with Chinese markings) and Magazines, 24 Grenades and other warlike stores. All warlike stores were likely transhipped from across to support the terrorists in Kashmir valley.
