GUWAHATI : Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has emerged as an angel for children battling Covid-19. Yuvraj Singh and his foundation will provide 100 ICU beds to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh. The medical college authorities have received information from yuvraj singh foundation to this effect. Confirming this, AMCH Superintendent Dr Sanjeev Kakothi said that two months ago he had received information from yuvraj singh foundation that he would give 100 ICU beds to the hospital.
Basically this fountain works towards treating children’s cancer. But during the Corona epidemic, he has taken the initiative to provide ICU beds for children to hospitals across the country. Dr Kakothi said that 50 beds will be provided in the first phase and the remaining 50 will be available in the second phase. He said that 20 in 100 beds will have full ventilator facility while the remaining 80 will be oxygen generated beds.
